Hi guys,

I thought I'd sign up to the Nation after lurking a couple of years to ask this question. I recently got a very, very good deal from an old friend who plays paintball in Australia who sold me his Ego 11.

The only thing is, since he bought it in Australia, the board only comes with Semi Automatic mode to comply with their rules. They disabled ramping, auto etc. Now, this isn't really a problem for me but I would like to toy around with the other modes sometimes.

Is there anyway I can sort of reset the board or unlock the modes from home? Or will I have to send it to Planet to get reflashed?

If I'm not mistaken the board needs to be reflashed.

Yea its probably programed so you cant even access those modes, or they are deleted completely.

Yeap, recently PE was at Sydney and they reflashed slot of markers to have ramping mode.

Also was told you can do it via e-portal too. But not sure.

Okitoki is correct, you can use E-Portal to reprogram the board.

Can you flash it back to semi only if needed?

Yes there are a couple options. Semi only and standard (what comes standard on the non - aussi egos.

E-portal has them both and you can go between each.
