The WAS board does not have an removable/replaceable chip - it's chip is soldered directly on to the board. Moreover, the chip used is smaller, and with less pins, so you couldn't even desolder the stock chip and solder on the Inoviq one. In order to use the Inoviq chip, you need a board that is designed from the start to use interchangeable chips.
