How many people actually play?

I always see that at least some people are viewing this forum, but no one every posts in here, why is that? and also does anyone viewing play speedball or just woodsball?

The problem with Delaware is that there are better places just over the line. So Delaware fields are nice but you figure Paintball action games and mansion house are only like 20 minutes from OXCC which has better fields, more players, and more services.

I stick with A2Z in Newark. Small facility but great group of guys and its a 1/2 mile from my house. Hard to beat.

The problem is that there is very limited options for paintball in delaware. I know of one field near me but really know very few people that go there. For what it cost to play. I am going to go to the best field with in reasonable distance which really happens to be oxcc for kent county.

Yeah, when I first got on pbnation, I tried to spark some interest in the DE thread but for all my efforts I just stopped and started posting in MD/OXCC threads. :-/ Besides, my team name has Maryland in it so it's probably better for recruiting either way.

Mavik: yea Red Mill is nice and I go there with my friends on occasions but theres not real speedball field there and there's no big turn out so you end up playing the same people over and over.
Whats an A5: Yea i hear you that was my same reasoning on going there too.
Garebizzle: yea that looks like what I'll be doing, and I would go to the MD thread and try to find a team but the thing is is i'm only home in DE for june-august, cause during the school yr im at college down in VA near Aldie so no one wants a person just for summer tournaments right now so I'm struggling to form a 5 man team for the summer.

You know, i thought about trying out for a team but honestly i don't have the time nor the money. So, for right now im going to stick to just playing every other weekend at OXCC and having fun. Now, if i get a surge of money and can afford some gear then yeah i'd like to try out for a team. I'd like to have a back-up of everything before i actually went for a team. You know what i mean?

If only someone would open a nice speedball / airball facility in DE. Especially down south, where there is nowhere worth going to anymore. Woodsball fields are a dime a dozen, but a good airball field is what we need. It makes me wonder how many people have the gear and the hunger to play, but no where to go within reason.
