So what advantages can we expect in the V2?

the spacer looks removable, so if it is would there be a selection of larger spacers that you use in combination with springs for adjustment in the way the Axe shoots?

The most obvious is the spacer and o-ring. It works as a shock absorber when the bolt comes forward hitting the stop in the body. We have had a few people break their bolt because of that. Also is stops the bolt from coming too far past the breech (happen because you are running lighter springs) wearing the bolt tip out prematurely. We have also tightened the tolerances up on the bolt guide bore because some people had concerns with it being too loose. We have also taken a .002 of the bolt tip to eliminate the bolt sticking forward.

No, that is not what it is designed for.

I have been using the V2 bolt for about 3 weeks now. Boss gave it to me in Chicago. So far there has been no problems at all, seems to work the way it should. My Dwel is at 4, pressure is at about 160, can't remember what the velocity adjuster is turned out at. How ever I did replace the o-ring on it with a slightly stiffer one. The one that was on there got mashed flat quickly. Just a little too soft I think, but Boss did tell me to change it if I had a problem. So far over all I am happy with it. I have only put about 2 cases of paint threw it so far. When i get time I will put more paint threw it and check for some sort of consistency.

Holy shades of the AutoMag... I remember the old Pro-Team Products spacer kits that you could swap in and out for different setups.

Man, I need to get my hands on an Axe. So many cool things happening with these guns!

I agree. I was going to pick up an Ego11 but for the price of the Axe and just how good it shot I couldn't justify paying an extra 600.

You guys should get the Axe. Cant beat the price for what your getting. Im about to order this Boss bolt kit from Ross here and see what happens then. My Axe already shoots wonderfully stock, cant wait to get quieter and running lower pressure and dwell. Haven't had a chance to personally shoot an Ego yet but guys at my field that do own them thought the Axe was amazing. That's one heck of a testimonial. I love mine!
