Good news, according to the California Paintball Safety Coalition, SB 798 has been removed from the agenda for the June 14 Committee on Public Safety meeting. Your efforts are working! This is only a temporary reprieve, however, so please make sure you contact your legislators if you have not done so already.

They realized it would affect a lot more people than they intended and it would have a negative effect on the California economy. Plus I think they realized that people don't play paintball in the street so there wasn't a need to target paintball. They were trying to fix a problem that doesn't exist.
