If you willing to drop that much. I would suggest a couple CDJ 800's and a Xone 22. Or if you wanna get tables you can definitely pick up a pair of Technic Sl1200 MK2s for like 800$. Then just get a Rane TTM56. You would have to buy Serato, or Tractor if you went one of those ways though, and that's like 400-700$ itself.
Pair of Technic sl1200 MK2's, and a DDM4000. But I'm getting a Rane TTM56 asap, oh and Serato SL3. Pretty much the standard set up for any DJ who uses tables. Most people prefer CDJ's though. I think tables are more fun though personally.
Eric need opinion should i get the NS6 numark or NS7FX numark. my boy has a numark and i loved it this weekend when i played with it and they both come with Serato ITCH dj software and can run through itunes too? which would you suggest? cause im gonna be running the music through my laptop, and im just getting started to DJing but my boy told me to get either one of these? just depended on money? and one more thing, what bout speakers, like what start up speakers should i get to have around the house or to do a small show for friends to start out with?
I don't know anything about controllers. Most people who use controllers go with the Hercules.
Programs
I personally prefer Serato, but Traktor is great too
If you want to make your own tracks, and produce buy Ableton. But It's expensive.
Speakers, I would suggest getting a pair of Rokits.
If I were you I would buy a pair of used CDJ 400's, or 800's and a used DJM400. You'll probably just end up upgrading to something like this anyways.
alright how much does that pioner 400 cost in that picture? it already has a mixer to though. and how much were those speakers up there? i plan on getting Serato
Are you talking about the Numark controllers already having mixers? Yeh, It's pretty much a mixer/cdj's combined. Seratos really good to learn on cause it displays the waveforms on top of each other. So you can beatmatch just by looking at them.
You can get a pair of CDJ 800's/400's for like 800$ish used. DJM 400 for like 400$ used.
Lol I'm thinking about getting a little mixtrack pro so I can make some mixes for my computer/zune. I've been running two versions of serato at the same time and just mixing tracks with my mouse haha
