Axe upgrades?

I am getting an axe and want to know what to get.
Planning on getting just a deathstix 14" barrel kit for $100.
Anything else or what would you think would be a better barrel?

There are many barrels to chose from. If you are set on the deathstick, then go for it. $100 is alot to spend on a barrel, so make sure that it is the one you want before you drop that kind of cash on one.

While I am nowhere close to being a know-it-all about the Axe, I have heard people talk about the Boss kit. They say that it is a good upgrade to have. Maybe look into that and see what it does and if you want it.

I would suggest looking at a Deadly Wind carbon fiber barrel. They are light and very quiet.

DW carbon fiber with freak inserts...Can't falter with that.

im using a dw barrel w freak kit and an lurker eigenbolt in my axe and its pretty awesome.

dont just get a barrel get a barrel kit. Something like the MacDev shift kit which comes with 4 different size inserts so you can match your paint to bore size

Just buy a small bore barrel a kit is a waste since paint is all coming small anyways.

i own an axe and if you havent upgreaded your feedneck yet do it the stock feedneck doesnt tighten properly and it breaks almost as soon as you use it a couple of times.

Just got a CP advantage 14 in .685. It's awesome. Quiet, accurate. Good length to press up against side of bunker.

i have an axe with my deathstix, it shoots very very good. its a nice barrel. and go ahead and drop 30 bucks for the boss bolt with the springs, it makes your gun shoot smoother, less kick, and more air efficient.
