2011 Minor League Paintball RaceTo-2 Series
Minor League Paintball 2011 Season Schedule:
----- Event 1 RaceTo-2 – March 26th and 27th 2011 at Insane Paintball in Chattanooga, TN
----- Event 2 RaceTo-2 – June 4th and 5th 2011 at Insane Paintball in Chattanooga, TN
----- Event 3 RaceTo-2 – July 16th and 17th 2011 at Insane Paintball in Chattanooga, TN
----- Event 4 RaceTo-2 – October 1st and 2nd 2011 at Insane Paintball in Chattanooga, TN

RaceTo-2 Event: A 2-day event, taking place on the Saturday and Sunday of the event weekend. D4 will play on Saturday, and D3 will play on Sunday.
***This is a true RaceTo-2, where teams will play shortened x-ball style matches in the prelims! 2 minutes in between points, first team to 2 wins! 5 man price, just not as boring!
Teams and participants are more than welcome to participate in both D4 and D3 RaceTo-2 and as long as there rosters are legal.
All Minor League Paintball events will be played on a gridded 2011 PSP Race-To field.
Entry Fees:

**All entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE**
Registration for Event #1 will open via the APPA Website in Late January 2011. Each division will be capped at 15 teams.

Classifications:
----- D4 RaceTo-2: Players in this division may hold an APPA rank of D4, D5, and None. Each team may also roster up to 1 player with a Division 3 ranking.
----- D3 RaceTo-2: Players in this division may hold an APPA rank of D3, D4, D5, and None. Each team may also roster up to 1 player with a Division 2 ranking.
Roster Size & Limits:
----- D4 RaceTo-2: Teams may roster up to 7 players and 2 staff members for this division.
----- D3 RaceTo-2: Teams may roster up to 7 players and 2 staff members for this division.
Event Start Time:
SATURDAY
----- D4 RaceTo-2 Scheduled to start at 7:30am
SUNDAY
----- D3 RaceTo-2 Scheduled to start at 7:30am
Game Time:
----- D4/D3 RaceTo-2 will have an 8-minute game time, with 2 minutes in between points
----- D4/D3 RaceTo-2 will play RaceTo-2 matches against 4 different opponents (min 8 game prelims, max 12 games)
----- D4/D3 RaceTo-2 will use PSP scoring structure, and allow ONE-30 second timeout per match. There will also be 3 minutes between each match.
Rate of Fire:
----- D4/D3 RaceTo-2 will have a 12.5bps rate of fire cap and must be in a PSP approved firing mode.
Paint Info:
All Minor League Paintball events are
EVENT PAINT ONLY. We will have paint available for special event pricing of $40/case. Same paint = level playing field.
Reffing:
----- D1 PSP team
CHATTANOOGA CEP will provide reffing. Minor League Paintball chose to do this to provide the most qualified and experienced refs in the Southeast. Where other series lack quality and consistent reffing, Minor League Paintball has stepped up to the plate.
Player Misconduct:
Any judge on the field, as well as the Ultimate Judge can assess Player misconduct penalties. Any action deemed to be player misconduct could result in a 1 for 1 penalty, 2 for 1 penalty, suspension, and or ejection. Actions deemed inappropriate can include swearing, hostile physical contact between individuals, throwing equipment, or just being a poor sport and making the event less fun for other players (this includes counter-coaching, etc)
Some Clothing Rules:
All players must wear long pants and a long-sleeve jersey type shirt. Player clothing may not have excessive holes, rips, tears, or anything else that would inhibit a Referee’s ability to monitor a player.
Metal and ceramic spikes and cleats are not allowed at any Minor League Paintball event for 2011. Track spikes are acceptable as long as the spikes have been removed. This is done to ensure the safety of players, staff, and the fields.
Color rules will follow current PSP color restrictions. (Yellow for 2011)
Spectators:
Spectators are encouraged to come out and support their team. All that we ask is that fans respect the officiating staff as well as all of the players at the event. Counter-coaching will not be allowed by any player or spectator.

Minor League Paintball does not charge for media passes. However, as media, the MiLP’s only request is to make all other media files available for the players, families, and friends to enjoy.
