No, just stuff i learned from one architecture class in high school. We just drew plans for objects. I didn't actually do very well in that class, lol.

I've already started building my own gun pyramid, but didn't find the hinges i was looking for so might make my own. Right now, the stand isn't gonna be collapsible, and i changed all the 12" pipes to 10" pipes so it's not so tall, and so it's a lot simpler.

Listen. You and me man. Lets get a patent for it and start a business together. I'm 15 and you're _____ BUT WE CAN MAKE THIS WORK. hahaha. For now don't make it collapsible? We'll do that later?

Haha! I don't wanna charge people for something like this, hence the posted schematics (or whatever you wanna call that). PVC gun stands should be open-source, baby!

I got one side done, other side half done. Next is the base, which is tricky cuz i don't know what the measurements will be until i finish the rest.

Revising the top of it. Sliding a 3/4" pipe thru a couple 1" T-joints so they swivel, allowing the proper angle, and letting it fold up.

But i've been sick, so haven't done work on it.

Photos of the prototype.

The angle at the top of one side is on purpose, to allow the stand to fold up without adding joints or special parts. Just needs glue to stay at that angle, or drill for screws, which is probably what i'm gonna do. Stand still needs a pair of crossbars on or near the bottom so the stand won't flatten.

The specs changed dramatically since the napkin sketches, i'll post the parts list and measurements when i finish, which will probably be this weekend since i ain't got hellcrapballs else to do.

Damn you really did pull it off

Yeah school came and bit my *** (i wasnt failing or anything) but for some reason I started getting super stressed out and completely forgot about this lol. I'm def liking this. Instead of screws, how about some sort of t-joint? Put a t on the inside of the PVC, put something over it, then put something on it to tighten it. know what im saying?

?? dunno, you'd have to ms paint what you're talking about. Words don't help me much, lol.
EDIT: ok, i know what you're talking about. Screws or glue would be less work, honestly.

OT - what i was doing while taking pics:

Edited my post, i think i know what you mean. Running a thin long screw straight through the joint and the portion of pipe inside the joint with a nut on the other end is pretty simple, imo.

But the PVC may strip a bit and become loose over time? I'm not saying my idea is better, just throwing ideas

Not of the screw goes all the way through so it acts like a support bar rather than just holding it in place, like this:

(( | ))

The outer cheeks are the joint, the inner cheeks are the pipe, the crack is the screw going clean through.

Quick drawing of the screw penetrating the joint & pipe to keep it from swiveling:

For masks, you could simply hang them on the posts that cradle the guns. Guess i'll look into other options. I also should take pics of full gun setups propped on the stand, not entirely sure they'll fit but can't really see why not.
