Speedball Field?
I'm in Newark, DE and I was wondering whether there was a decent speedball field around or if Chesapeake City was the closest one?

OXCC is the best one around. Delaware has a speedball field way down south, but OXCC is closer and better. Plus it's only like 15-20 minutes from UD's football stadium.

Alright that's what I thought, but I wasn't sure, you play there? how good is it? and would it be easy to do a walk-on alone. I'm just looking to get some practice over the summer that way I can get better before the fall comes.

Oxcc is a real decent place. Great staff. Lot of roomm for exansion. I see something new every weeknd. Its not that far from ud. Icome from pike creek and it takes me about 20-25 on a bad day

Lol that's awesome but doesn't answer my main question. How easy is it to do walk-ons? will i be able to find a make shift team to play with if i go there alone or do i need to get a crew together so that I can get some practice in?

Bring a crew always if ypu can. The more the better. Just get there early. 9ish so u can talk to some guys. Usually teams need one or two. Or you can group up and play some pug games.

From what I've seen, most of the time, walk ons are fine. They usually need a player or two to fill in for a team. It's better if you bring your own team because your guaranteed a spot and a good group of guys but coming solo is fine as well.

Yes OXCC is a really awesome field, but Mansion House Paintball in Bear, Delaware off Porter Road also has speedball too if you're interested. The level of play isn't as high as it is at OXCC so it is a more relaxed atmosphere if you're interested in that. If you are looking for a really highly competitive field than OXCC is the place for you, but you should check out both fields and see which one you like better

Sweet yea I was gonna check out the Mansion but I wasn't sure what was up with that field since ECX closed cause didn't they own that field, and does the Mansion have a shop? |

Nahh ECX didn't own our field. We were business partners with them. All of our paint came from them, and we promoted their business and we promoted theirs through advertisement. And yes, we do have a pro shop |
