im looking to buy skates but i cant decide between Reebok 4k pumps or Bauer vapor X20. Both are in my price range. Which line of skate do you guy prefer? i know these are on the lower end so im not expecting anything amazing. I like the pump but does it really work? i have a pretty narrow ankle so if the pump actually does what it says then that would be a huge plus for me

I have vapor x30's, and from my understanding the difference between those and the x20 is pretty minimal. Those skates are ****ing amazing. I absolutely love them.

Probably. I got mine online from hockeygiant. Just go to a store to try on a few pairs to see if you like the feel and get them online for cheaper.

$250 is a bit steep for me. Next year when i dont have to buy EVERYTHING, then ill probably get some better skates, but right now i literally have to buy everything, so i can deal with a cheap skate while i learn
Ive been doing most of my "shopping" on hockeymonkey. i went to hockeygiant and trying to browse their website is annoying and all the prices seemed pretty much the same.

Try craigslist and buy used gear. you'll save some money and upgrade it as you play more. Skates are worth spending the cash on if you plan to slate thru the year and your feet are done growing. They will last you a long time but eithera way Id stick with the bauers over rbk tho.

hockeymonkey is a good site. I would just prefer to get a cheaper vapor variant. it's a good skate. maybe check out a local shop and make sure of your size. don't want anything too narrow or tight etc.

nooooooooooooooo!!!
Go to www.icewarehouse.com and purchase a $10 IW shirt and you'll get 10% off any order you make from there for life. I love that website.
But, you get what you pay for in skates. Just keep that in mind

Didn't you almost debut pro, maybe that isn't you. Graf is the way to go skate wise.

Don't know if it was said yet but try on skates at a local shop if you have one, the sizes are TOTALLY different from shoe sizes. Usually about 2-3 size difference.
