Accuracy
Hey everyone. I have been playin' with my quest and was curious what you guys do to get more consistency. I have been having some accuracy problems but I think that is just the fact that I am getting +/- 12-15
I have a critical quest, so I am using a CP HPR and I'm at stock settings...any suggestions?

Service the regs for one thing, try a fresh quality battery, maybe up the dwell a bit. If the marker is new, it'll need to see some use before the velocity settles.
Paint quality can have a huge effect on consistency, so before you get good consistency, you need to be using fresh quality paint that is actually capable of good consistency.

Thats a huge one. Also, me sure to get a good bore to ball match on your barrel, that will up consistency in a huge way. Best of luck!

Aside from what was already mentioned...
I put my dwell at 12-14 and i reset my lpr when I play. Back it out all the way and increase until the bolt fully cycles, then increase slowly until your getting consistent numbers on the chrono.

yea, in theory you should re-set the lpr each time you chrono. but on one does. In addition to that, at least my paint has been getting very inconsistant within the same case.

Don't forget paint swells a little once its been opened for a while... temp. and humidity are to blame. So if you bore size/blow through test in the morning, play all day and notice different consistency towards the end of the day the balls may have swelled up a bit... I like to overbore a little with open-bolt guns even though it hurts efficiency it can help consistency.
I like the LPR suggestion, I'm gonna take that under advisement next time I run my Quest...
