Front block leak. options?
Brother gave my his TES. Leaks like a sob, from the screw holding on the front drop. I read some threads about a shocktech tube, shipping from shocktech for the tube is $20, freaking ripp off!
I have any other options to get this fixed? Different front block? Or is that the only way to go?

i think the hole is open, so try some teflon on threads, or even some loctite, not red loctite tho. i cant remmber if there is a gasket or seal under screwhead
on spyders the block has a closed hole so no leaks, on TES its right through

I purchased the T.E.S tube from shocktech, pretty sure that fixed the leak with the front block. Now I can hear a new leak, I can hear it out the barrel and hopper. Where do I start?
Sorry a paintball newb here.

out the barrell is usually the poppet or valve/cup seal
im thinking it should be same as a spyder(been a while since i pulled a tes apart), you can sand the cupseal and or the valve face, with like 1000 grit
if a tes valve is curved then you cant.
like i said cant remmber what the valve looks like

Is the cup seal supposed to screw onto the shaft? I noticed when I took my front block off the spring, cup seal and shaft just fell out.

I had the same problem I just ended up rethreading the hole a little bit bigger and add some teflon and bingo no more leaks
