EXACTLY! Plus that guy can put a good lane up...we (pitt) felt that...yet it was no excuse for us losing.

Everyone gets lucky...do it consistently and then we're talking Pro players are still human, and put their pants on one leg at a time.

so?

then again... it's not like he was good enough to be in the ncpa.
Haha, we play pro players and pro lines on a regular basis in practice (though i sure didn't play like it this weekend lol ). It's not the fact that you can shoot a pro, it's the fact that you can get your butt handed to you to the point where you can learn and start to put up a fight and start going back and forth.

When I was newer to xball, I asked Sam Moneville how easy it was to practice against us. His response went along the lines of "It's actually harder at times...divisional guys shoot spots and lanes that we just don't expect and it catches us off guard". These guys get used to playing at a level with others their level, and it's just difficult to play with those who don't think of the game the same way.

Pros paintballers are just other people with guns on the field and more connections off the field.

Corey was a huge asset to the team this year. I wish we had more than a practice with him before the event to really adjust him to our squad (and us to him) though haha

Corey's obviously a good player. I was not a part of the chant, but considering the favor of the audience I assume it was simply to bring Cal State's morale down. He was the most poised and composed player I saw on the fields all weekend, especially when it came down to him being the last one or two live players on his team.

i watched the cast and here's what i have to say:

welcome to sports. people are going to analyze you and tear you down, especially if you are a "pro" playing in a division they feel is not up to your level. Paintballers get so defensive about this... "hey man! you suck too! You couldnt play pro if you wanted brahbafhghba" -- well true, and that's fine but as the spectator part of the fun is criticizing the team you're not rooting for and if they have a player to target, all the better.
