Changing standard board to Virtue board

Hi there people,

I have only been with the sport for about 2yrs. This will be my 2nd year. I bought a NT brand new. I have to say it is the best marker I have shot. In Australia they seem to be heavily into Planet Eclipse Egos. But there is a niche for Dye guns. It took me some time to learn the marker but after that sweet as. I am the only one in my state to own an NT. I would like to ask all you pbers should i change my standard board with the virtue board and what is the difference? It presently is shoots quite smoothley as it it since I have tweaked it a bit.

I personally don't think its worth the money. My nt11 board works perfectly fine I bet yours does too. The only good thing the virtue has over the stock board is a quicker turn on mode and better lights(some random told me so I am not sure if this is legit or not) and you have a bunch of modes(i personally don't care about the modes because all i need is semi/millenium/psp which the stock board has)

I dont think the NT board has 3-shot so if thats important to you then got virtue/tadao.

Also the switch on the virtues are lighter than stock.

I personally really like my virtue pled and would recommend it. Main thing I like, the higher quality trigger switch makes it easier to obtain higher rates of fire on semi

The lighter switch is the main reason I bought virtue. Hell, I own 2 and would buy the OLED but I cant stand the recharging battery situation.

The battery recharging issue is ridiculous on the Virtue board. Fortunately I only need to recharge it every 3 weeks or so, but every time I do it, I think about buying a Tadao board. Outside of that it's a very nice board, I wouldn't say it's worth the money unless you really want psp 3-shot. Which I did, so I bought it. If I had to do it over again, I'd probably buy the Tadao board, since the grips are so easy to take off on the NT and I'm not configuring the marker during a game.

I have the virtue board for my NT11 and I personally love the rechargeable batteries. If you are having problems plugging in i bought the Charge Anywhere from Radio Shack and its great, basically you plug the charger into the wall and it retains the charge so you can use it to charge the batteries anywhere.

Hi Knight... which part of Aussie are you at?
I bought a non-OLED virtue board, and I have to say with the softer switch, it shoots stupidly quick in Semi..... I bought mine last year because we were going to WCA at KL so I needed different mode for it.

However, unless you need the different modes, its probably not worth getting... if you going to play the Super7s, I think Action can organise the flashing of the board in the next round...

You can always get your stock board flashed by Tadao.

Knight when I had a NT I liked my virtue oled board, it turned on quicker and I played many different tournaments where I often had to change my settings which brings up two things first you always have to have your manual to know how many clicks in what mode is what, second it prob takes an average 4 min maybe to change your modes to what you need. The oled has two user profiles so If you play where you have to change your fire moder or rof you can already have that set. Also you dont need your manual for your board. I also like the fact that I never had to buy batteries though if you forget your charger at a hotel or loose it youll be buying a new charge cable which is more expensive same goes for if you manage to loose a battery. One thing I didnt like is that if your forget to charge both batteries and you show to practice or an event your going to be using a teammates marker cause you wont be using yours.

Virtue Pros:
-Brighter Lights or the use of OLED screen
-Rechargable Batterys for the Oled
-Faster turn on time before a game
-A lot more modes
-Lighter micro-switch for faster trigger response/ ease of pull

Cons:
-130 for the Reg board and 190 for the Oled
-Virtue f***ed up the dwell settings so its really hard to set that up
-Some people are retarted when it comes to reading the god damn manual and not knowing how to charge the board but its a 2 dollar cord at some random store
-For 100 dollars less you can get a board the rapes the virtue board and its just the fact of sending it to Tadao and knowing you did the right thing

GET THE TADAO UPDATED SOFTWARE BOARD AND SAVE 100-160 DOLLARS!!

unfortunately for the OP (and myself) we are located at the other end of the world (Australia... not Austria ) so getting our stock board to Tadao (US) and send back, the postage would probably would make it about the same price. plus the long turn around time.

36 clicks could be a dwell of 9ms if you set it by 4clicks per 1ms.

I ran it that high previously but found that after awhile it sounded like it's vending during each shot. Drop it down to 28click and had no issues any more

I know the manual provides the conversion for dwell and such. But I noticed my screen shows "ms" in the appropriate modes. Does anyone know if Virtue fixed this. I haven't been to the field since I installed so I haven't really played with it too much.
