is it safe to rinse...?

is it safe to rinse of the body, frame, asa, and feedneck lever on the nt?

i took everything off the body and off the inside of frame so its just those parts...even the screws and all but i was afraid something might rust in one of the body's holes where air goes through or in the asa... maybe even the frame too... would it affect any of these parts if i where to rinse them through water and then dry the outside of them with a towel?

thanks... Austin

Why would you want to do that? Just get a towel and wipe it down. Don't risk it. If you really want to put water put it on the rag and wipe it.

as long as you dont put it under water for a long time... you can do it, just be sure you dont put water on the board... then when done use compressed air to blast away all water... and RUSt... huh huh... it is aluminum... it doesnt rust...
I use water a microfiber to clean my gun... hot water is best... no need soap or other stuff

all those parts are aluminum, right?

It would be fine to rinse under water.

aluminum wont rust at all.

Though any part thats stainless steal would rust if left wet for a longish period of time.

I would suggest taking the solonoid and eyes out too.... and I would also use a air hose to blow out as much water as you can from all the small holes and passage ways...

However, I dont see the need of completely dunking your marker in to a bucket of water to clean... sure you going to get lots of paint on it if you get shot up, but a bit of patient and lots of kitchen paper towels will get it nice and clean again.
