What to expect first time D3 7man team, trying to attend DC

I am trying to put together a team for DC, I have a few committed players, but I am looking for advice and what I should be planning for, if all goes well with this one event, I am gonna push to play more in 2012! Mostly D4/D5 5 Man players, with no experience playing 7man.

Hotel is kinda easy for me, I have a family discount through a popular chain. Just need some solid advice on how to prepare, and what we might spend on an event as a group.

You remind me of me in 2003 when I formed Legend. Set some goals & jump in, close the back door. Most important, be willing to take the lumps from better teams in order to get ahead. Don't forget to have fun! That's what this game is all about. Good luck!!

For the tournament costs for D3 7man, expect to shoot about 30 cases of paint. Have everyonhe bring money for extra paint if you make it to sunday. Use the time to get to know people at the event, watch other teams play, meet players from all over the country, and, like legend said, HAVE FUN! NPPL events are great for playing ball during the day, meeting up with new people, and going out have a good old drink afterwards.
