My deceider was the week before TX psp...Vicious came to my field, as well as some other teams. One team was an all axe sponsored team. Bryan Bortol went through 4 guns himself, with boards frying and not working. No axe went down, and nobody complained about them. About a month ago, we were playing in 16 degree weather. Nobody elses gun worked except for two axes we had...but PE guns still do shoot really well

Are you kidding? Every axe I see at my field is falling apart, my teammates ego8 had the board and frame bent on a bad dive, bent back, played with in a day where the field was swamp (snake players gear get soaked) Cleaned that gun prolly 3 times a year and its only maintenance it needed was a new board when he ripped out the battery harness on accident. I doubt someone went thru 4 egos in 1 day

Most non gun sponsored teams shoot PE. Also notice when they are they arent the newest, greatest and latest. the guns are ego8, sl8r ego9 and older guns. Ive seen alot of non pe gun sponsored teams end up finishing a tournament with there PE backups. what wins is dependability and PE=dependable.

I personally would like to see Dynasty shooting MacDev.
But actually i was wondering why Dynasty wasnt shooting the Axe myself.
Its a very capable gun, but not as good as pe so i dont blame them for not shooting it.

why would they want to go away from anything else, PE is amazing. ive had one since 05 and the only problem any gun has given me is getting a new reg for 08, and new boards when they fry years later. easy to clean, easy to shoot, and they shoot tits.

i've shot every high-end and mid-end marker there is. Axe has no comparison to the NT, The Geo2, the Ego 11, The BL Vic, the BL G6r, or the Clone for high-ends, and the ego 8s and 9s, dm9s, geo+s, BL Vices, and MacDev Cyborg Rxs.
axe is in my opinion too heavy and ergonomically wrong, not to mention it takes days to get it to rope and i shoot 19.8 bps semi

I agree with this man. While the Axe shoots nice once it settles down, it has nothing aesthetically on the Vic/G6R/Ego or Geo...even the NT or Luxe.
Axe = tank
PE/BL guns = angels of death

dont know if you noticed but every game someone from infamous was cleaning paint out of their gun and the feednecks fail a few times as well. its a great marker for the price but not quite on the level of the other markers used at the pro level. |

I run an Axe and BWing DM8, the Axe is my primary and the DM is the backup. Both are great guns. The Axe is a bit heavier but not to the point where it makes any difference (to me anyway) Shot an geo last week and it is a great gun but I kept going back to the Axe, the trigger works for me, the size of the gun fits (again for me, I am a bigger guy) I can honestly say I have never had an issue with it until I put a boss bolt in it and it has shot ropes since day 1. Only thing I would drop it for is a geo. As the day went on the geo grew on me.

mmm that's an opinion. I have always been a loyal ego shooter since planet eclipse started making them, and then I tried the luxe. My egos now sit in the bottom of my gearbag waiting for the day my luxe decides to go down (which has yet to happen) |

I mite get a luxe for play play but tournament day that geo 2.1 comes back out well i got a ego 11 to so.

PE guns has a low maintance factor but dye's are so smooth, but just put them back in JT pinstripes again with shockers, with excessive as the rival for podium (ah the good old days...)
