Each has it's drawbacks, virtue recharging the battery is a chore and tadao needs the grips off to see the oled screen. That said I went with virtue, didn't see a point to having an oled board that I couldn't see the screen IMO.

personally i went with the tadao
1 cheaper
2 personally i only need the screen for programming and not in game
+ like above stated i did not like the battery situation with the virtue
but everyone has their preferences

If the virtue board is draining your battery then you should send it back. It might be drawing power when the gun is off.

Virtue told me the batteries should get about 20000 shots off of one charge.

Got my stock NT board flashed to Tadao. Good pricing (1/5 of the cost if i'm correct) if you don't mind counting "blinking lights" instead of using an OLED.

I was gonna do the same thing just to try it out but Tadao never responded to my many emails so **** them.

At least with Virtue I can pick up the phone and talk to someone.

I'm having problems with my virtue OLED board, It randomly switches off. Iv looked for a pattern to why it does it, I would shoot a lane BOOM OFF, I would not be shooting for a second BOOM OFF, I would switch it on then BOOM OFF immediately.(no pattern to be found) Iv switched off the auto shutdown, doesn't help. Iv played around with the battery wires while its on, to see if its maybe a wire problem, not that either...

Loosen your board screws cause the buttons may be too tight and pushing it. Also check your battery isnt slipping off the terminal. I had to add a folded business card under my battery cause the prongs were a little weird.

NVM the battery you have an OLED which doesnt use 9v.

How crazy is this situation...
If Tadao made it so that the OLED could be seen without taking off the grip no one would buy the Virtue Board.
If Virtue would just use a regular 9v battery no one would buy the Tadao board.

I never "over tighten" anything, I sometimes find it funny when people over do it with the NT's barrel and then crack their eye pipe...

I checked the thread that you added, I’ve squeezed the grips to see if that’s the problem, and it’s not that either…
Thanks anyway for the help!

So true.

So far I haven't had any good experiences with Virtue; I was trying them out with most of their products, to see if it improves anything. I have the Virtue Rotor board, RF kit, soft cycle and OLED. Only thing so far out of that list that worked properly first time installed is the RF kit.

Am I just jinxed or do other people have problems with virtue products?

I’m not smashing on the products I’m just telling what my experience is so far with virtue.
I must admit Virtue has extremely good customer service, If you need help.

I never said you were over tightening them. Sometimes you need to loosen them and move the board a hair so the buttons arent being depressed by mistake. Make sure each button makes a definitive 'click' when pressing and releasing.

i hope this is irony....
the virtue oled use the orignal snatchgrips, but they have installed own logos - so you can see the oled without removing

but btt
my choise is the virtue oled,
you get free snatchgrips (the original grips with other "windows") with the board and you can use the dyegrips if you need a replacement or have white grips and simply change the "windows"
you have recherchable batteries, but never load the board on the pc, there is a high chance to destroy your motherboard (each battery has 3.7V at 400mA, if you load both to the same time you can get a current of more than 600mA that will destroy your southbridge if you only use one port for loading)
real finetuning (some settings like bps and dwell in 0.1 steps)

but there is one prob: you have cheatingmodes.....

or simply look here
