vibe qev leak help please
hey guys I recently bought brand new blackheart board and installed it. there is no leak when I attach hpa tank..my problem is when I pull the trigger majority of the air is released out the qev and out the grip frame...my L 7 still kicks every trigger pull but barley any air goes in the breech..when I pull the trigger the first time when the gun is turned on it is loud and seems normal..every trigger pull after majority of the air comes out the qev. any ideas would be appreciated

Figured it would be the other way around. Stock bolt would usually run dwell with QEV in the teens. Lower for the L7 bolt. Whatever works...

I run my dwell at 14-17 when using my L7 bolt. Mine just won't run any lower. It's weird, but my blackheart acted up when I first got it. Not sure if that was the problem, but I've heard you can run the dwell at much lower, but mine just wont'.

running my dwell at 20-25 there is a noticable amount of recoil with the L7 bolt in with the blackheart board compared to the stock board...i will prob mess around with the settings more this weekend at the field and chrono it...i did not have a chrono but it looked like it was shooting a little hot. does the velocity have any affect on dwell?

The dwell can have an affect on velocity. Dwell is the time that the bolt is shooting out air. 20-25 milliseconds seems like way too much. Maybe you're o-rings aren't fitted correctly?

The ones on the L7 bolt.
Well, for that matter, any o-ring that isn't fitted correctly could cause your marker to be less efficient and make it use more air.
I'm guessing efficiency is bad with your marker?

I never had any problems like this with my blackheart board. My Dwell was at about 16 at all times.

Where did you get yours at? I got mine from Punishers, and it had probably been sitting in a warehouse for a year or more.
