So when I first got it she was bone stock. Threw in a Virtue Board and some hybrid parts along with a critical trigger. Then I put a nxt frame on it but had to do a little dremel work on the back to make it line up. Also had to find a way to put the pins back into the body to make the back plate stay in postion so I did a little mod to make them removable for future use. Then sent away half the parts to SHOOTNPOO and he turned it into an amazing looking "Ice Cuba" Nerve!
I CAN DO THE PIN MOD FOR ANYBODY WHO NEEDS IT DONE! PM ME FOR MORE INFO!
Yeah more or less. Only problem is the hole and pin become too big for the back plate guides so there is some modifying to be done. Not to mention if you tap them out at the wrong angle it just won't work right.
Nice work. But you should remove the price for the removable pins from the thread and leave it to PM's to avoid problems with the Mods.
Assumption is the mother of all **** ups.
"Thats a lot of Romans over there." "Yes but not one of them is Gisgo." Hannibal Barca and general Gisgo before the battle of Cannae in 216 BC.
Because they were nasty nerves. Those had part of the x where the pins were so they were able to make removable ones but on all stock nerves the came with press fit ones unless someone modded them themselves.
SP started modding the Nerve because they had issues with the twist lock locking up. When you sent your Nerve back to get that issue resolved, they drilled/tapped the pin hole out so you could remove the pins to get the bolt/twist lock assembly out to do maintainence on your marker. I've had them do two of mine. I believe they used an M4 tap and special set screw for the mod.
