why was the event only worth 80 points? we would have went to boston to get full series points. It sucks that ECU no showed but if we knew that before we would have gone somewhere to get a full amount of points

The tournament was adjusted so we all played 4 pre lim matches which was nice - but we weren't given the option to count ECU as forfit (no show) since the event was registered for 6 teams.

I asked Joe, and he said they award points based on the teams that played, not paid.
I am with you, we would not have come if we would have known it wasn't going to be for full points...

that does kinda suck since normally as Mike said those matches would count as forfeits.

ECU ran into issues with the school van when we were leaving for the event. However, everyone on our team, too, thought our matches would just be forfeited, as the tournament would have never been run without that extra spot registered/paid for.

Yea.... we would've definitely gone to Boston for full points.
