TechT Ego Hush Bolt Update

Hey guys just wanted to let you know that we made some changes to the Ego Hush Bolt... and yes it is now black. We switched to a higher grade delrin, and did I mention it is black. We know a lot of people were not crazy about the color. It is actually a little lighter as well... just barely.
Thanks to everyone for all your support.

No. It was getting too difficult to get our hands on. And when we could the price was way too expensive. We would have had to start charging more for the bolt. We did spring for better delrin though.

We don't take any additional material away because we feel it may weaken the bolt. As for changing anything else? No... "if it's not broke don't fix it." We have always gotten such great numbers out of our bolt we really didn't feel the need. We just announced it so people wouldn't go crazy speculating about the changes.

Breach wear is inevitable no matter what, depends on what kind of terrain you're playing on and how well you clean the gun.

You're also going to get slightly more wear because the bolt seals in the breach better, which is the reason for the quieter sound signature and better efficiency. Show me a case where normal anno wear inside the breech of a gun actually did anything negative to effect performance anyway?

Unless your breech has wear from dirt and debri you aren't going to have issues. "Normal" breech wear is fine and shouldn't effect performance or resale. If you are buying a used gun and expect it to not have any breech wear then you are going to be looking for a used gun forever.
