1: I think you meant "syllable" not "synonym"
2: not 1 of the 4 names you suggested are one syllable, every one is 2 syllables.
You should name the dog "mop"

Actually, the "experts" say a two syllabel name works best, especially one ending with a long e sound. I don't stick to that, tho. I've had dogs named Helga, Rags, Jethro and Heineken who all responded to their names equally as well as the one named Mickey (short for Michelob). Our current dog is Caleb- no issues there, either.

I don't know if you've given her a name yet, but you probably have since this thread was made quite some time ago.. Anyways, I have two Australian Shepherds and their names are Aussie and Sydney. Love them to death. Very, very smart and crazy active.
Hope you're enjoying your new pup.
