How to quiet the NT down
need some helpful hints.
its sounds kinda loud and poppy. its also very inconsistent. this could be because its only had 5-6 cases through it but i was wondering if anyone had some suggestions
i have a the tadao musashi 6 NT reflashed board so here are a few of the thing im doing
dwell-12
Low Pressure
269 277 285 251 277
Dye Lube / just rubbed in over all orings
perhaps tell me some dwell setting?
whether you run high pressure or low pressure?
your consistency?
lube used inside? how much?

wow... dwell seems awefully high? I have mine on 7 (28 clicks in the old Virtue board)
Operating pressure always at 135psi region.
Lube with either Dye Grease or Monkey Poo (which ever I have in front of me then) and applied enough to make the oring and bolt look wet.
My NT doesnt seem that loud any more compare to before... maybe it got better? maybe I got used to it?
all it matters is that it shoots consistent and doesnt fail on me.

dwell at 8
140 psi
blue bolt tip
spacer body and two spacer rings
shoots almost as quiet as my friends geo2
and for the consistency it might be cold weather, because i live in michigan and it seems that at the beginning of the day the consistency is spread apart more, and than throughout the day when the gun warms up the consistency goes around +/- 3
hope this helps

I am running my dwell at 10 on my '11 at 105psi from the HPR with the green insert and its pretty quiet.
Consistency with DXS practice paint is usually 285-279, like Beast said above me colder weather takes a toll on the gun. I am up here in Canada, so its something we have had to get used to.
I find with the colder weather the bolt sometime sticks as well. I have a tadao flashed board so I haven't really messed with the ABS at all, does anyone have any suggestions?

My NT is very CONSISTENT. Scarry actually. Kinda reminds me of my old AKA Viking with a sidewinder reg. +/- 1 or 2 over the chrono. Very happy with it.
Also, I run a SP Freak barrel. So far, it's been the quietest of the bunch.

what i did to quiet mine down was take the bolt out, put my mouth on the back of the gun and blow the paintballs out. they dont go very far but the gun is super quiet . you just have to be careful, all the blowing makes you light headed.
