Question G1 stock tube compatibility???

Hello, I am just wondering if the GoG G1's stock is a 'one-off' or if it is compatibility with other klinds of stocks? Like does the buffer tube allow use of other stocks from say magpul etc.?

It should fit stocks for civilian-model AR buffer tubes. Sometimes, you MAY have to shave down the flat on the bottom of the tube to fit.

The back plate on mine has a single hole for a machine screw, that fits into a mated hole in the stock tube end. After market versions used a separate adapter plate for M4 type stocks.

I'd hate to guess which one the G1 uses....most likely the version like mine...

I've put my mil-spec (1.14") Vltor stock on the G-1 and it fits perfectly. A civilian (1.17") stock would fit, but would be wobbly.

I acquired a civilian (1.17") Magpul CTR knock off, and it is loose - quite annoyingly loose, but functional. I've used a lot of electrical tape to build up the space and it helped immensely.
