I concur with the Detonator portion of your post but the evil Respirator (LPR) other than its large size also proved to function just fine on several Markers I tech'd with them with the exception of one but once again, the lowest possible common denominator was User Error.
Keeping in perspective that MOST upgrades on Intimidators ARE NOT NECESSARY, yet people have this anal retentive gene that makes them THINK that anything that is advertised as being an "UPGRADE" surely must be better than what is currently on their Marker, and thus... They go out and buy these things. Had they had a clue as to how to work on or actually tune their marker properly, they wouldn't have felt they needed an upgrade to begin with. What I normally do with ANY Part or Marker is tear it down to bare bones and re-assemble it to my standards and to this day I have NEVER had a single issue or a Marker go down in the field.
There are some parts that are just overinflated hype and are utter garbage i.e. Lucky Ram, Empire Balanced Ram Sleeve setup and a few others but I honestly have never seen a truly bad evil part ever. Except for the Front Block being too short and dawning a single O-ring, thus lacking stability (which can easily be remedied), all the evil parts have worked flawlessly for me. I hate to say it but even the evil Bolt outperformed the Stock bolt in 2 Intimidators I set up for my friends. They needed Bolts and I found them NIB for $5 each and said what the hell. I chrono'd them with the evil Bolts in them and just for the sake of my own satisfaction decided to throw in a new Stock Bolt in them to sho them that the stock bolt is the best option when it comes to Bolts, but to my surprise the Stock Bolt showed a clear drop of 5fps on one Marker and 7fps on the other. they fit really snug in the upper tube and as a result were also more efficient.
Really made them feel confident in me.
