I have a Midnight Ego 11 on the way, and was just wondering if the trigger from the EgoX will fit in the Ego 11?

Stock Ego 9 Board Died
I bought my friend's Ego 9 and the board is dead. I was wondering what board should I upgrade to out of three options.
Buy a Virtue Redefined Board for ~$115
Buy a Virtue Ego OLED Board for ~$189
Buy a Tadao Yakuza Series Board for ~$180
I'll also listen to any other suggestions.
I was leaning more towards the Redefined board because I could save a bit of money that way. I'm really wondering if the other boards would be worth the investment.

I would say the Yakuza, because you get the screen still instead of the stupid blinking LED light on the Redefined board, and Tadao customer support is really solid.
Have you tried calling eclipse to see if the board might still be covered by warranty?

Thanks for the suggestion. I just asked my friend and he said the board isn't covered by the warranty anymore (he already talked to PE).
So, I will avoid the redefined board. Is there any major difference in quality from Tadao and Virtue OLED boards?
Currently leaning towards the Tadao Board unless I hear otherwise. Will probably place my order sometime this week.

I just picked up a stock '07.
Is the stock bolt (cure) worth the upgrade to purchase a cure3 or Hush, then have Pooty lay his hands on it? Or stay with stock
Also what i've gathered here Zick kits would be a postive upgrade to have it shoot more consistent (tighter grouping bc of less kick).
I understand a quality barrel will increase accuracy ten fold so that will be on the "to buy list" but other than the 2 mentioned above are there anything else you could think of to help accuracy?

The Zick kit is a great upgrade to the Ego7, you could go with Zick1 or 2 depending on your budget, but the Zick1 is fine.
Barrel kit is the best bang for your buck. Make this the top of the list. Eclipse SL kits are nice, but hard to come by, Furious kits are a great way to go also.
The cure3+ isn't really a needed upgrade unless you see paint issues, if you do decide to go that route there is no harm going with a new one freshly modded from Pooty.
Really with Ego's besides a barrel kit most everything isn't worth the upgrade price, you are better off buying paint.

Do they make an upgrade on the Ego...where the frame doesn't bend like a pop can when you take a hard dive? Just wondering? I had a buddy who had a new '09 and the frame bent and it was just a paper weight after that.

Ahh ok. I'll have to get an Angel then. My buddy really liked Angel, but went against his gut feeling and got an Ego.

I enjoy them. I still love the old 06 dark Ego's tho. They just feel better than the new ones IMHO. I will put down my angels or Evil M to play with a old dark any day.

The frame is designed to give under these types of stresses to reduce the chance that YOU will be injured when taking a hard dive. As a marker frame can be replaced where your body takes much more time to heal.
Eclipse takes good care of their customers.

Shooting a Vicious 07 ego Zick 2, Cure 3+,and SLS reg, shoots money, rivals all the newer guns on my team, for half the price.

QFT 06 dark is the one and only ego I've owned, but I love it and will never get rid of it. Some people prefer the thinner frames on the newer models but I think its perfect. My favorite thing about it is that it has actual pl milling plus avalanche is the ****!!

Okay so I know the Pooty mod on the Cure 3 and 3+ are must haves and significantly help efficiency, but what I was wondering if the same mod was really necessary for Hush bolts, considering the majority of the improvement over the Cure bolt is adding the O rings to prevent air leakage, which the Hush already has. From personal experience, is the milling to prevent breach wear that significant in noticeable difference?
