you might be looking at mid to low 12s with those bolt ons. even moreso if you did a tbe.
my suggestion would be evo or sti, those are gonna be the 2 best cars especially if you live where it snows alot *i didnt look to see where you live* otherwise the new 5.0 mustang gts really cant be beat.

not where I am from. EVO IXs are low 13s at 103-105mph but stis arnt.
http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...spt/index.html
13.4 on an 2009 sti.
http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...est/specs.html
13.5 on the 2010 sti
http://blogs.insideline.com/straight...sti-sedan.html
13.8 @ 97.4 for the 2011 STI.
and i havent seen a stock sti run often but when they do they arnt impressive (hell the last evo vs sti day at englishtown didnt end well for stis either).

$25k-ish for a new or year old sedan with power seats, heated seats, etc. No hyundai, kia, chrysler group, or gm.
Current thoughts:
Fusion
Accord
TSX

Depends on the Civic. They're going to last forever, but the paint won't. Treat it well and it will treat you well. Corollas are the epitome of beige, I would never drive one unless "AE86" is in the VIN code.

2006 Ford Fusion or a 2006 Nissan Altima? I can pick them up for roughly 10k, but I'm still not sure which one. Thanks for any input.

the speed6 isnt that quick of a car which is why it never sold well and was discontinued after one body style. you could also get a b5 s4, twin turbo 6 speed thats awd. i have one, its a great car. parts are just very expensive for it. maybe a newer b6 or b7 s4. no turbo, but a nice solid v8

So I'm looking to buy my first "real" car soon (my parents gave me the old 1990 lumina) and I'm considering the following:
06+ Honda Civic
04+ Mazda 3
03+ Hyundai Tiburon
I mainly just want something that will last a good while and do well on gas. Any feedback on the cars I listed, or any other suggestions? They've got to be in the same price range though.

Out of the three, I'd say Mazda 3 if you can get it low enough. It's the roomiest and least likely to get you in trouble. Also, the tiburon is a girl's car, and most dudes who drive one around here are *******s. A civic is a civic. Don't rice it and we won't hate you. It will last forever and get 30+ mpg while doing it.

Hah, yeah the Tiburon was kind of iffy. I'm probably leaning toward the Civic just because of the MPG and reliability. Thanks for the input!

as mentioned evo and sti, but you could consider a legacy spec-b if you're looking for something less flashy. Also think about the money you'd save on insurance/initial purchase.
edit: also look into the saab 9-3 turbo X. May not be as fast intially, but one tuner http://vtunersaabs.com/ has been getting great results.

Miata, no joke. That's got all of your wants and will last a ton longer with less maintenance than an RX8. (look up Apex seals, I dare you) also, the renesis just DRINKS oil.

Cobalt SS
Make sure you realize that they make both the 2.0 Supercharged with 205hp and the 2.0 turbo with 260hp. Stay away from the 2.4L.
