Excal Serial Number:
#231
Style:
2k2 - Team Gun (Damage Inc) - Factory Purple/Black Acid Wash
Date Received:
Fall 2009
Approx Number of Shots:
Unknown (MANY!)
ROF:
Uncapped
Settings:
Pandora Board, Uncapped Semi
LPR Pressure:
65 PSI
Feed Tube:
CCM NoRise Heliclamp
Pinches Per Hopper:
N/A
Chops:
Rare
Breaks:
Rare
Loader:
Pinokio
Air System:
Ninja SLP Regulator, Angel Air "Lesbian Kiss" 68ci/4500psi, Crown Royal Bag
Consistency:
+/-2 FPS
Efficiency:
2300+ shots, 68/4500
Preffered Barrel:
Smart Parts Freak back, All American Front
Any Problems:
RobTown valve occasionally acted up on very cold days; serious velocity drops would occur when the valve failed to seat properly. After a rebuild the issue has disappeared. Considering an SCMIII and volumizer to achieve +/-1 at the chronograph.
Comments:
I am the third owner.
Originally made for Gary (GaryPB) of Damage Inc in 2002. "Factory" purple and black acidwash courtesy of Gruntbull for AKALMP. While he owned it sported a Damage Inc sticker, and if you look carefully at the passengers side you can see a ghost of the logo. It gained an original CCM feedneck, DYE grips and a snatch grip while in his possession, but stayed stock otherwise.
Sold to Keith (Cougar20th) in 2005, at which point it was sent to Destructive Customs and acquired a Pandora board and break beam anti-chop eyes with covers, as well as a much brighter LED. It retained the CCM feedneck and DYE grips, and lost the snatch grip while it was in his possession.
I purchased the marker in the fall of 2009, at which point I swapped the old CCM feedneck for a new matching CCM Heliclamp, swapped the stock trigger for a JMJ Nurvous, added a matching Freak barrel with All American tip, and installed a RobTown valve. The solenoids have been upgraded and it has had "hidden" internal pocket milling which has been treated to prevent oxidization.
I still play with the marker regularly.
