I'm trying to decide if buying cast wheels is worth it. True ballers buy forged but I'm not sure if it's really worth the extra money on my car. My guess is no. I can get a set of VMR wheels for like $800, but I'd still need tires.
There's just so many little things I want to do to my car and it adds up fast. I want new wheels, euro tail lights, clear corner and side markers, de badge (no money there), full paint correction and piano black painted trim.

i'm going to be in the same wheel situation in a few months. it will probably be between "settling" for works or springing for volks
i'm done with my car after the tune and wheels. oh, i do need to debadge
maybe i'll eventually tint. it gets ****ing hot

Your car is actually making some power though. I'm making like 200 AWHP on a good day. IMO sports cars or true baller cars (MB CL500, etc) should have forged no doubt, but that's just me.
Oh I kind of want to do new shocks and lower springs. Not super low, but low enough that I'm no longer on 4x4 status. The xi BMW's ride pretty high from stock.
I also want an MtechII front bumer. Fawkkkk this **** adds up fast.

I'm pretty jacked up right now, the xi's ride about .75 higher than the RWD 3 series, which still have plenty of clearance. I'm thinking 1" lower would look great and not spoil the usability of the car.
