The question is, does it have to be of the chocochip variety, or can it be PB, oatmeal, sugar...

I should prob stop cluttering this

Chocolate chip is the obvious cookie of choice, but I did have a few choc. chip/mini m 'n' m cookies today. They were delicious. Got three for fiddy cents at our school's "snack shack" in the cafeteria.

How strict is the carb limit on off days?
Edit: I missed it the first time, I guess just fruits.

I don't even do fruits - I think they're overrated except for berries. I avoid nuts too, but sometimes that's an ok quick snack with a shake...just remember, nut protein is junk protein.

Yesterday I had:

1. 6 eggs + cheese omelet with tabasco chipotle
2. 20oz package of ground turkey + chicken grillmates seasoning + lots of olive oil+ tiger sauce + frozen mixed vegetables
3. Muscle milk shake with extra whey added ~50g prot. Water, not milk.

No idea what the carb count on that is, but it's low as ****.

Lurker, I have a question.
Currently; my split is MWF, but Im wondering if I should do MWTH because I do legs after Wed and I drink on Friday night. Would it be better for me to eat again solidly and lift on Thursday to recover and then not eat a lot and drink Friday night?

I attend one of the most famous party schools in the nation. I drink maybe once a month and only have 2-3.

I'll get obliterated maybe once every 3 months?

You're making it seem like its difficult to stay sober, in which case I think you have bigger issues to worry about than how its going to effect your LG diet.

Re: glycerol (adding research to original post): http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19941615

google "glycerol hyperhydration"

I recommend cheap, liquid glycerol. Not GMS.

Ohhh, I tried it by itself. Was like eating sugar flavored syrup. For some reason I didn't think it would be soluble.

Do you guys still have a huge meal on off days? And for the initial breaking of fast..can it be solid food or is it supposed to just be a shake?

Um. No...off days are pretty limited in cals, and especially lower in carbs. After the initial break it can be anything, but I would say that if you are breaking it post workout, drink a shake AND eat.
