It says on the coupon how you can use it, it's not very simple. That's why these "80% off" "$25 gift certificate" coupons are $2. Some do not allow drinks with the certificate, some do.
No restaurant would give you one of their gift cards for your restaurant.com coupon, never.
They last one year from purchase in my experiences.
