Quest problems
Need a little help with my Critical Quest with APE board. LPR at 100psi and HPR set shooting 280fps. When in semi shooting slow the gun does fine, however when you start shooting fast it sounds like the bolt isn't completely cycling. When you put it in full auto and keep you finger on the trigger the bolt stays forward and it sounds like a rental gun running out of CO2.. Any ideas?
Oh and the board is all set to default with dwell at 15 and has new battery..

What lube are you using? Might be too much lube. May also be an O-ring issue.

All o-rings replaced. Tried Lurker lube and Sleek (Dow 33) and no difference.

Dwell is default 15ms. When I got the gun it was shooting low so I uped the HPR to about 280 and it then changed the LPR pressure from doing so. From what I understood the LPR shouldn't move when making velocity adjustments..

set the lpr at 90 and leave it. then adjust for velocity using the HPR. Then, over time, drop it to about 80 or until you see consistancy problems. then bump it up a bit. But 90 is a good start.
It sound like your gun is being starved of air pressure at high rates of speed. That narrows down the search too -
Tank being screwed to far in (like fallin said) and its shutting off the inflow of air.
Tank reg is set to output a low pressure (less than 400 psi) which gave me shoot down problems as well. I set mine to 650, anything above that will also work.
Tank reg may be incorrectly re-assembled. If you or anyone has serviced it recently, de-gass it and take another look at it.
Make sure that the orings are not only free of defects, but they are the correct size.

The LPR is set at 100psi straight from Critical. Once I tried to lower it and it wouldn't even cycle so I raised it back to 100. As for the tank its a HP Crossfire and it works great on every other gun so thats not it. I'll get some more air tomorrow and see if it makes a difference not screwing it in all the way..
Thaks for the help. I'm sure its something simple..

Somthing similar to this, one of my team mates was having trouble with his LPR where it would only shoot at about 140 PSI
Once you would start shooting the bolt would stick forward when you got above about 3 bps

Actually the stack was correct, but hardly any lube. I took it apart re-lubed and it works like a charm..
