PGP C02 Not Piercing?

Hey guys.

I got a pretty heavily used PGP today, and I'm trying to get it firing.
The previous owner says it worked fine, but I'm running into some trouble.

I put the C02 into the action tube, and screw the filler tube back in. I pump the forearm back, and then bring it back forward. I pull the trigger, and.... nothing.

Help?

I can't tell if the puncture pin is missing. How would I check?

if you take out the hammer and take off the 12 gram plug and push in on the valve you may be able to se it going forward.
i would say more likely the hammer is binding or there isnt enough spring pressure to drive the hammer hard enough to open the valve enough to pearce it.
if its the first time youve monkeyed w/ one you do have to cocke them back deliberatley all the way. to let the sear catch are you doing that?
