OK I am going to try to explain this clearly but will probably fail. The curved cut out area that goes around the front of the transfer plate when slid up into place is slightly smaller on the Axe fore grip. So no it would not fit on the Mini without a slight moddification.

I did have one mini foregrip that wouldn't fit .. but the other two I've tried fit fine.

Update. After talking to someone that should know. The Axe foregrip should fit on the Mini. So I went and tried it on a couple of different Minis and it does fit fine. It's just the one Storm Mini that was tight. But that can be worked around also. I just loosened the grip frame screw a little and the Axe foregrip slides right on. So really it should be no problem other then adjusting a couple of screws.

I may try putting the Axe's front grip on one of my Mini's. Where can you get a hold of the Axe's front grip besides calling Empire/Kee?

Thanks Boss for that update, I went back to my Mini and tried it again with the trigger frame screws loose and managed to wriggle it together! Check out the first post for updated pics. Welcome to the new MAX and the beautiful AMI! :-)

If anyone can tell me why using the same IMG /IMG tags with the new pics doesn't include them in the post, I'll fix it. For now I had to URL link them.

Heh I did this ages ago to my mini - I had an empire Axe but personally I much preferred my Mini so sold the Axe, but I loved the Axe grips, both the foregrip and rear grips!

So I swapped the foregrips and also the rubber grips, now I have a mini Axe




In the first pic you can see the rubber grips are set really low, thats because they dont fit quite right on the mini frame, I had to drill and tap extra holes for it to fit correctly, as you should be able to see in the second pic

I was waiting to get this back from being anodised before I posted here but seeing as the subjects already being spoken about...
