Calling all Golden Retreivers
We all know that this breed of dog is undoubtedly the best. It is a widely known fact that Golden Retrievers are the reason why people say that dogs are "man's best friend"
Here is the youngest member of our family, Coby, seven year old purebred Golden. He is lean and mean 80-90 pounds.
Anyone else have a Golden that "smiles" -- Meaning greets you and bares his teeth smiling"

This thread gets a seal of approval.
This is Coleson, my (seemingly) purebred golden that we rescued from GRRAND (Golden Retriever Rescue and Adoption of Needy Dogs). I absolutely love this dog, he's pretty much the best pet ever. He's a little slow in the head but he is the sweetest thing ever.
Smiling
He loves carrying stuff around. It's usually a stuffed Golden Retriever though; that is his baby.
I HAS A CUP!!!!!!
My last Golden killed birds every day in the back yard...

Not a pure bread, but I love him all the same.
My I think 6 year old Golden retriever/Australian Shepperd.
We got him from the pound after a family found him running on the highway. He is such a dork and loves to play.

Only picture I can find of my golden right now. Hes 5 years old, slightly slow, and the best dog ever. He has a teddy bear that he's carried around for 4 years, he loves to steal shoes and hide them all over the house, he enjoys cheese and long walks on the beach.........and he smiles/winks at you all the time. Oh, and hes purebred /care
Best ****ing dog ever.

This is the love of my life, Allie. She's a 3 year old purebred, will be 4 in October. I got her a few years ago from a breeder, brought her home when shes was 6 weeks old and only 5 pounds. I'll have to dig up some of her puppy pictures. She loves to be held like a baby, and act like a lap dog. I used to always hold her like a baby, but now shes about 75 pounds, and isn't as easy to pick her up as it used to be. She is my first Golden, and my families 4th. She's incredibly intelligent, loving, and protective. She loves to dance, play dead, give hugs and high 5's

This is my golden Kodiak (but we call him Kodi). He is my first dog, and I'm quite sure no dog I ever have will live up to him. He's goofy and follows me or my mom all over the house because he has to be near his people at all times. He also LOVES the snow!
Taking over my bed:
Sneezy:
With his brothers!

WBFF, that sounds exactly like mine. She loves the snow, and has to be right next to someone, shes never in a room alone. And shes constantly bringing toys, and when you come home from work, the first thing she does is tries to find you a stick, ball, toy, heck even a rock sometimes. She just runs up so proud like "Hey, look what I got you"

Haha I wish mine still had the energy for toys and such. He's 11 now, so his day consists of napping by my mom, getting up to follow her to her new location, then napping till she moves again etc. until I get home then it's me. He does reserve about an hour's energy for romping in the snow and barking at my neighbor's yappy little dogs. lol

Does anyone know where to get decent priced goldens my wife had a 2 yr old male named gunner and he was a huge part of our family thought he was a person but while walking grandpa to the mailbox he was hit by a car. I have been looking for pups locally but I can't afford to get her any of the ones i have found.

I would always suggest that you go with GRRAND. Especially if cost is an issue; adopting helps out more than just the older dog that probably wouldn't be adopted otherwise.

I got on GRRAND and found one that looks exactly like gunner but I don't live in the area they service and my yard is WAY to big to fence.
