If you are going cheap Russian steel ammo, and don't care about reloading, go with Uly. Cheaper and better.

Wold Military Classic is made by Ulyanovsk.

There is nothig wrond with steel cased ammunitions. Bushmater rifles are generally considered to be of poorer quality.

Well, your rifle won;t shoot steel becaus eit is of poor quality, not because steel ammunition is a bad. The only difference is it is generally loaded lower pressure and does not have the elasticity of brass.

BZO @ 25 should be good out to 250, with point of impact being about 1 inch above... right?
I BZOd at 25 with the irons, then cheat sighted the Aimpoint (lined dot up with irons). Should be good, eh?

Amazing how your AR-15 won't shoot steel cased, yet a 400 dollar yugo AK will shoot any kind of 40 year old steel cased, corrosive, rusty, jacked ammo lol.
<3 AK's
Yet my AR eats the commie surplus 5.45 like oprah eats french fries? Ditch the bushy

Ever notice the massive taper of the 7.62x39mm amd 5.45x39mm cartriges? There lies the magic! Both cartriges were designed from the start to use steel as the cartrige case. The taper allowed the cartrige to be extracted with minimal friction. 5.56x45mm uses a nearly strait wall case, intended to be made of brass which is self lubricating. You're cheap rifle works with cheap ammo because it was designed from the start to do so, utilizine a tapered case andvery loose tolerances.

I'm never going to sell any of my guns. I'll buy better ones when I become operational. I want a good AR with iron sights, and I'll put the tac stuff on my Bushmaster.

Great Grandpa was at Sai Pan and Okinawa. I'm not sure which battle he picked up the rifle in. He told me once shortly before he died that he lost several friends to that very gun. I was only 7 at the time so he didn't get detailed about it but I assume it belong to a sniper or they were ambushed by a group of japanese and this rifle belonged to one of the attackers.
