Pawn Brokers corner
The Pawn broker wanne-be's should have their own little section where they can post who they are and what they interested in buying or selling.
What I see them doing is posting or pm'ing members without making offers, trying to get the members to come to their thread or site or call, email them for a super low price for whatever they are selling. If I wanted to pawn something I would go to a pawn dealer, If I want to pay retail I go to a retailer. Dont want them knocking on my door
Now if the member who has something to sell purposefully comes to this person so be it. Maybe its a good thing to have in the forums.
Please give them their corner to operate.

Just do what I do. In the rules you post say" if you are a pawn shop, DO NOT POST OR YOU WILL BE REPORTED" Also, " if you are a pawn shop, go jump off of a cliff" or something in the lines of this.

Unfortunately, users rules are not enforceable and if the post does not break any PbNation rules then nothing can be done about the post. |

I wonder if half these people even understand what a pawn shop is. Yes, pawn shops buy and resell things, but what pawning actually is, is giving the store an item of value in return for a loan of money, you than have to repay the loan in a certain time frame or your item becomes property of the pawn shop, who than resells it. Now I really don't expect people on a paintball forum to be running a pawn store operation, but why call your store a "pawn shop" when there really is no pawning going on.
