Shooting in backyard?
I have tried looking for a local officer to contact about this. Andcant seem to find the right person to talk to.
So, is shooting your paintball gun in your backyard against the law? To make a shooting video or something.
Thanks in advance.

It would all depend on your local laws of the town you live in. Also it would have to depend on the location of your home, such as if it is near a school or something. I would go to your town hall to ask if your town has by-laws on it

personally i have no idea whether it legal in my area, but as long as your neighbors are cool with it, and you dont live near any stores or public place, i would be willing to bet that you would be fine. but if you do live near a store, park, or anything like that, then its a necessity to get an ok by a law official.

I have the privilege of having a lot of friends in the police and going into the police myself I'm aware of the laws and problems they cause. Laws won't do you any good if your neighbors or a passerby phones up the police and says that you're shooting an M16 in your backyard, even if it's a...Ego, I just bought some reballs and shoot them in my room, mind you I don't have anyone to yell at me for that.

If you shoot anything that isn't yours by mistake. Paint will bounce off of bunkers and fly in all directions so be careful of the direction in which you're shooting.
Noise complaints will result in getting a ticket for public disturbance. You need to make sure it is okay with your neighbors first, and make sure they are aware that it's loud, especially with multiple markers shooting. If they ask you to stop, STOP.

We got a ticket for disturbing the peace. Some old guy didn't like the sound of the paintball gun.

Im thinking about getting a 3man field set up in my backyard altho my yards only like 50 by 20 and its got 2 trees and a shed, Would have to do Some trimming, Think its even worth it. And will the netting stop most of the paint? Im definatly gonna ask my neighbours first, im kind of worried cuz one of my neighbours has a little kid. WOuldnt want to light him up on accident D:
