3-MAN ROOKIE TOURNAMENT DECEMBER 4th
Paintball Arena in West Babylon will be hosting a Rookie 3-man tournament Sunday December 4th.
Open to unranked players only. Any APPA ranked players will NOT be permitted to play. Recommended for ages 16 and up.

Entry fee will be $200 per team if registered by November 28th and $250 per team any day after that leading up to the tournament. Complete roster of players competing is due when your team registers. Each team is allowed up to 2 alternates.

Top Prize will be $1500 CASH!
Other prizes 2nd-4th to be announced later.

Paint will be $55 or $65 per case depending on desired grade of paint.

3-Man Center Flag Format
All other NPPL Rules Apply
Reffing will be supplied by the best tournament refs around, Team LIFT & Dark Riders

Check in time will be 8am day of event. Games will start at 9am. Top 4 teams from prelims will compete in a round robin final.

Minimum number of teams needed to hold the event is 10 teams.

War Hounds Paintball presents "The Depot" Mini Scenario Tournament on June 25th


Scenario:

Valuable land deeds are being stored in the "Depot" vault, awaiting the county assayer to transact the sale of the deeds. The Comanche are there to buy the deeds to reclaim some of their lands.A group of desperadoes learns of both the valuable deeds in the Depot vault, and the Comanche's money bag hidden in their tee-pee, and go in guns-blazing to claim both the deeds and money for themselves. The Pinkertons have been hired to protect the deeds and they are on-guard in the Depot building; defending the Comanche's money is also in their best interest as if the sale doesn't happen, they don't get paid.

Format:

Attack and defend, with objects determining points. During each match, each team will have a chance to attack and defend the Depot. A coin toss between team capt's will decide which team can elect to attack or defend first.

The attacking team has a goal of capturing and returning two objectives: a Briefcase (containing land deeds) stored in the Depot vault and a Money Bag (from the Indian Tee-Pee). The defending has the goal of defending the Briefcase, and secondly, the Comanche's Money Bag.

Defenders cannot leave the Depot Area until an attacker controls the briefcase and leaves the Depot building with it. The Depot area is defined as the area immediately surrounding the Depot building forward to a line of "cover" parallel to the front of the tee-pee extending to left and right side of the field boundaries. This area includes the inside of the buildings and tee-pee. If and when an attacker controls the Briefcase and leaves the Depot building with it, the Defenders can then leave the Depot Area in pursuit of the Briefcase. This rule does not apply to the Money Bag in the tee pee.

Shooting directly down onto a player from the second story of the Depot building is strictly prohibited, as is shooting directly up at a player on the second floor from the ground level. Defenders and attackers cannot fire their markers over the backside of the Depot building or over the rail of the ramp at any time of the game. This is strictly enforced!

Rules

-5-man teams (7-man roster)
-7-minute halves with 3 minute break between for reloading, air up, etc.
-Semi-automatic and response triggers only
-12.5 BPS ROF Cap
-280 FPS chrono

Payout

-CASH PRIZES!!!
-1st Place= 20% of entrance fees
-2nd Place= 15% of entrance fees
-3rd Place= 10% of entrance fees

Points Breakdown

Each game is worth 100 points to the attacking team. Points are awarded to the attacking team via control of the Briefcase or Money Bag and the safe return of each to the Attacker's Start Point.

-30 Points for attaining control of the Briefcase
-30 Points for safely returning the Briefcase to Attacker's Start Point
-20 Points for attaining control of the Money Bag
-20 Points for safely returning the Money Bag to the Attacker's Start Point

Hello to all my paintballing brothers and sisters. I am reaching out to our community today with both sadness and hope in my heart.

On August 13th of this year my cousin Patrick who was a 21 yr veteran of the NYPD, a devoted husband and a loving father of Caden 5 and Brea 2, lost his life while saving his 5 year old son Caden in a Kayaking accident. Patrick was a true hero and one of the greatest people I have ever had the honor and privilege of knowing.

On October 23rd we are having a benefit at Cousins Paintball field in Coram, NY.
There will be all day scenario paintball, food, live music and auctions for all sorts of great merchandise.

Please help us make this a great event and a great day for everyone including Patrick's family....

You guys have been asking for it, and here it is!

Lainway Sports Paintball (LSP) is proud to announce it's first PSP format tournament this year!

You'll be playing on one of the most pristine fields in the Northeast, on a fully sodded 2012 PSP regulation field. The facility is fantastic, with plenty of staging area for every team we accommodate, and parking located right next to the playing field.


Registration Fee: $350.00 per team (After Deadline August 19th, There will be an additional $50 fee to enter)

Paint: $50.00 per case


How will Registration work?
The guys behind the scenes at Lainway Sports are going to start a Paypal account of which your team can send the registration money to.

Prizes:

1st: $1,350 ($1,000.00 + Registration Fee returned)
2nd: 10 Cases of Paint + Half-off next events Registration Fee
3rd: 5 Cases of Paint + Half-off next events Registration Fee

(Prizes are based on 12 teams in attendence)

Here is how the tournament will be run:
It is a Division 4 and below tournament, with a limit of one D3 player per team.
There has to be a minimum of 6 teams, and a maximum of 12 teams.
If 12 teams sign up, the teams will be split into two groups of 6. Which teams are in each group is totally random without outside knowledge of the team/players.
Every team in their designated group will play each other once, and the top 3 teams out of each division will advance onto the finals. In the event of a tie between 3 & 4 in each group, there will be a tie breaker match. Winner of that goes to the Finals.
The Finals will be played in a Race-2 format. Winner moves on. 3rd seeds of each group will switch groups and have to play the 2nd seed in the opposite group they were in.
The top seed in each group will have a "By" in the Finals. They will play the winner of the 2nd & 3rd Race-2 match in the Semi-Finals. Then the winners of both Semi's will play in the finals for overall First and Second. Losers of the Semi's will also be playing for 3rd
Penalties will be assessed as 1 for 1's, 2 for 1's, and so on and so forth
