ok fellas im gonna be gettin a scuba here next month was just wondering if theres anything specific i should know or will the guys at the dive shop know everything?

Just let them know it is for paintball and that you want the "k valve" that is straight up and down not tilted to one side (they fit the rectangle fill stations that are available now). They will take care of you lil' buddy!

Has anyone heard anything about plastic barrels?? Just asking cause we need to kinda get things rolling on the field.

I think we have to first figure out where we are gonna do this at. Maybe have a vote to see if we want to rebuild Glenrock or build in Casper. We will probably have to clear it with the city in either location or if the land is owned in Casper, clear it with the owner. I really do think we should put a vote on this though because if this Casper field is going to be where I think it is, IMO the Glenrock spot would be much nicer.

The place here in Casper is not city owned. It is the same property that Jerry set up his field on.

I vote Casper!! I say that because it is closer for one. Glenrock town will put a sh!t load of rules on use for two. We don't have someone that will be in G-town to be the mediator for three. Oh did I mention it is a hell of a lot closer!!! Im not saying I'm just saying.

Casper would be ideal because it is closer, and because we would not have to jump through hoops to make it happen. At least I do not think we would. But if I am remembering the spot correctly isnt there a bunch of cactus, sagebrush, etc. out there? We would have to really clean it up. Is the owner of the land ok with having a bunch of paintballers out there all the time?

might have found a lead on plastic barrels. Car washes use barrels like that to put soap in so we can check to see wat they do with once they're empty

As far as Big-T has said. As long as we don't speed on the road to the field and keep it clean they don't care what we do. For the cactus and sagebrush we can remove that. I guess what I'm saying is...I'm willing and 1000% ready to do what it takes to get a field to play on.

The Land owner used to play paintball with us out at the rocks and at Primetime Paintball back when Yates Army Navy was open. We had a pretty good friendship back then. When Yates moved to Australia we kind of lost contact. He has told me it is no problem for us to be out there. He just asks that we please not drive fast on the access road and to keep trash picked up. yes there were alot of cacti out there. But not on the field. However, we can drag it with a 4 wheeler and a railroad tie and Billy has a skid steer we can use. There are plenty of ways to make it nice. We just won't have any trees to shoot at or give us shade. But, that is why they make pop-up awnings (for shade Nick, not shooting

). I see a huge advantage in the fact that we wont be held back by a flooded deer creek. From the sounds of things the snow pack is ahead of normal already and we all know what that did last year. I remember alot of people that were bummed (and talking about quitting)because they couldn't even get their trucks across with out fear of flooding. It would just mean we could start playing earlier as soon as the weather is nice. The closer we get to building a field again the less I want to jump through hoops to appease a town council that is jaded towards paintball at the moment. Like Newt says, Glenrock will surely be alot more strict the next time they authorize a field. I say build it in Casper to start with.

i totally agree. olly check across the street from the shop and ask that company if they have plastic barrels...im thinking they might cause they recycle.

Well Trent cant we put something out there for me to waste paint on? Pretty please!!! Maybe we can buy a little tree from Home Depot and then I can shoot it.

EDIT: I did not even think about the creek. That is a valid point. Still it will be very very strange not to drive across that creek on summer days in June, July, and August.

IF you have to waste paint you can just give it to me and i will shoot you with it and then you can take some home on your face.. sounds like a win win to me. Casper, CASPER , CASPER. OH did i mention my vote is CASPER.

Yes but Dave I never said I wanted to be hit with said wasted paint. I simply wanted to change the color of some of the landscape.

y ai can check with safety clean. but considering the dispose oil and other hazard type liquids they are prolly metal drums
