well im sure you have heard this before, but im thinking of buying a blazer
1 how durable
2 how quiet
3 how is the maintenance
4 how fast and is the trigger good

Trigger is my favorite mechanical trigger by a long shot.

They are very easy to maintain. Wipe out the top tube, clean off the bolt, put some oil on the bolt and in the ASA and drop some oil on the hammer and you are good to go. You don't need to take anything apart.

They are very quiet. Not the most silent guns out there, but with a 12 inch single ported brass barrel, they sound perfect, no harsh crack noises.

They are very durable, the stock hard black anodizing will easily outlast the owner.

is timing an issue? How hard is it to time if it becomes untimed

1. Virtually indestructible. One of, if not the best construction of any marker.
2. Quietest I have ever used, several comments from other players and refs about how quiet the marker was.
3.Nil, take it in the shower with you, literally.
4. Trigger is fast.

Timing is as easy as a cocker and will probably never ever become untimed.

Just wish they used autococker threaded barrels. Never bought one for that one reason.

This thread is seeing some serious necro action.

You can turn any barrel into a blazer barrel with a lathe. Every chop in your neighborhood has a lathe. You just need to go in and ask. Turn it down..bam, you got a blazer barrel.

Fortunately the brass barrel with wedgits most blazers have is better than really anything else out there. Other barrels are fun, but there is no actual reason to have a different barrel on the blazer.

I believe that you can also buy a Palmers to Autococker converter. It adds about an inch and a half to two inches to the length, but if that is the only reason that you didn't buy one, you are missing out.

Don't know if you bought the blazer or not, but I love mine, and since I started playing with it, I don't think I will ever play with anything that isn't made by palmer. Mine has dual spiral vent, and it is almost whisper quiet, incredible how quiet and accurate they are. I also have the pump kit for mine. I can switch between pump, or semi-automatic in about 3 minutes.

I have to agree with the others...amazing marker...quiet, accurate, easy to maintain...and I second buying one used...I picked mine up with 3 brass barrels, dual stabs, remote air set up including an air-thr-stock and it had just been tuned by Palmers (he sent the receipt)...all for half the cost of a new one without all the extras...
