Flagstations Help??

Hello,

My name is Shawn Henderson, I work for Flagswipe Paintball in London Ontario Canada.

I also help run the BTseries which is a competitive woodsballs event series. I have a dilema with my flag stations as the players are rough on them which frequently leads them to fail and thus effect the scores of the event.

A local player who has visited your field several times has told me you guys have a flag system that is bomb proof. Would you happen to have any pictures of these systems so that I may produce something similar??

Thanks in advance

Cheers,
Shawn Henderson

We use a system of slapstick for scoring. if you look at the picture its on the far right.

Take a piece of PVC tube (1 1/2 inch works well) and attach it to the top of a vertical post so the open sides face the starting points of each side. Take a smaller diamater PVC pipe (1 inch diameter and 6 inches long ) and put it inside the larger pipe. place painted end caps on each end of the smaller pipe. this keeps the smaller pipe from coming out of the larger pipe on the post.

scoring is simple as pushing your color end cap up against the post and in turn pushing the opponents cap further away from the post. in the above picture the Red team has scored the point

The nice thing about this setup is they are easy to fix if ever broken and can be scaled up to larger PVC pipes if you want better visibility
