What kind of paintball could you buy 20 years ago and how much did it cost?

Let's find out together.
These advertisement scans are from my August 1990 issue of Action Pursuit Games.
As you read these prices, keep in mind that a dollar in 1990's money would be worth $1.67 today.

Some of those loaders just make me giggle. but I do wish I was around in the era where pumps were the norm.

Man, I love this old stuff you keep posting, Inflicted. I wish I would have kept some of my old APG's...I think I had some from 1994, maybe even 93...

Anyway, I've been shooting Marbalizer paint since around 1995, and it was the same quality then as it is now - damn near perfect. Before that I shot Pro-Ball (can you say Pro-Bounce?? ) and Powerball. I don't remember what I shot other than that but most of it was crap. I remember Brass Eagle paint could be purchased at Wal-Mart in a pinch for about $10 for a 200rd jug. Pretty crappy stuff as well. At least the Pro-ball and Powerballs shot straight and didn't break in the barrel. They just felt like rubber-bullets lol.

I think Marbs were around $125/case if memory serves. Cases were 2500 then.

Paintball was a lot CHEAPER back then. Yes, you read that right.
