Mess it up? Why? There's already lube in the solenoid.. (Legitimate question, not me being sarcastic. lol)
I use Sl33k (or Dye's Dow33) on my HPR and on the ASA threads and tank ring. It's a little thicker than Monkey Poo. I only use monkey poo on the bolt and LPR.
As soon as you air it up, itll stop rattling. I just got my DM6 back from being anodized and noticed the same thing. Checked the shim stack, lubed with Dow33, check ALL of the orings on the reg, and then air it up. Should be good
