Powering up

Hey, I have been sTrolling around the fep threads for a while now since I just picked up an 06 quest. It shoots great and I am trying out the different bolt mods but I cannot get over how difficult it is to turn the marker on, you need friggin' elf fingers! Lol, does anyone have a big button mod for this situation. Thanks in advance.

Allen wrench, screwdriver, small stick

But seriously, you could probably remove the board, get a large diameter drill bit and drill out just a little bit more around the switch, not all the way through, but just enough to make a small "crater" around the switch so you can use your thumb or something to push it. One problem I see with this is that it is so easy to push the button that this would make it easier to accidentally hit it during play.

The most handy would be to have the button protrude a bit more.

I don't have the stock frame on my gun anymore. So I don't remember what the button looks like.

But you could do a few different things. But try this one first...

Add some superglue to the bottom of the button to take up empty space under the button.

What frame do you have on it? Pics?

To the OP. You can always use the middle portion of a q-tip as a replacement. Just tape the outside so it doesnt fall out.

I took the on/off button out and added just a dap of JB Weld to the exterior side, and a little goes a long way (I found out more than a 1/16th" would allow me to turn off the marker with gloves on gripping it). Then I took a really fine diamond file to smooth of the rough excess so it moves smoothly through the hole in the frame. DON'T add anything to the side of the button that touches the board, it can go in too far and damage the boards on/off button.

I had to bend my button in because I was hitting it while just holding the gun and turning my eyes off. Solution was to bend the button inwards. Your solution would be to bend the button outwards a tiny bit.
