slightly annoying problem
So ever since i got the Virtue board in my Epi it has been doing something kinda strange. Every now and then it...shortstrokes.... i know that is an autococker term, but it seems like my epi has been doin it.
basically every now and the (very rarely) when i shoot it kinda goes "click pshh" it sounds like the bolt doesn't move but still lets air through..maybe, i dunno.
If anyone has any clue what this is let me know. I'm not real worried about it, but would like to fix it.

The dwell may not be right since you said you put a virtue in it, if this is the case, you just need to bump it up a little

Yup, i put in a virtue board as well. Now every once in a while it randomly sounds like the bolt (or something else) gets stuck for a second and air comes out sound like 'shhhhhtt'. Afterwords it will either shoot 2 balls, or chop. The consistency is just really bad.
I'm starting to think this might be a regulator issue, are you using the stock reg or an aftermarket one?

I'm running the stock reg, but mine shoots just fine afterwards. It doesn't chop or double up or anything after it messes up.

you tried lubing? when my epi sorta did that, well
a complete teardown led me to see that internals
had zero lube, so sliding through the o-rings might
be hard. might be the problem or not, but lube up
might just cure the problem
and remember, only type Dow33

haha yessir, It's lubed sure enough. The problem somehow has something to do with the Virtue board. While i was using the stock board this never happened even once. The day i slapped the Virtue board in it started doing this. It's been getting better lately, messing with the dwell and trying to get it working just right.
