Kinect? Motion sensing?
Now I personally play Xbox 360 and would never buy a PS3
But what the ****.
The last few months every one like "OMG" over these new motion sensor crap.
Seriously?
PS2 Eye Toy
Anyone remember this? I never had a problem with it. I remember playing a few years ago
Sony copied off of Wii, and Microsoft copied off of Sony...

The tech involved has improved substantially. Kinect is completely different from eye toy.
heck, you wanna be like that we could argue everyone copied the Power Glove.

It's the integration, sensitivity, and full range of dexterity that creates the difference between them all.

Why would you never buy a ps3?
Kinect, Move, and WII have brought ,or are bringing,in so many new people to the gaming world. My 90 year old grandmother loves wii bowling, but would never be able to play the simpest of bowlong games with a standard controller.
Innovation is change (duh) sometimes change is good, sometimes it isnt. In the case of motion gaming i think it is good as a whole for all of us. Motion controls are helping to get all ages into gaming, even those who think video games are a useless medium are finding themselves playing these types of systems.
what exactly is your argument against motion controls?

I can only flail my arms around for so long. Motion controls are impractical for 80-90% of games out there. It's great to bring in the young and old, but that makes no difference to me. I hate motion controls.

not all motion controls are mindless flailing. MAG an Heavy Rain have both implemeted the in a very god way. you can lay on the couch getting fat and still have full use of the control scheme.

I think voice recognition is much more promising than motion controls.

Until great AI makes a very strong and prominent place in games, I don't see voice recognition retaining much appeal beyond a few choice titles.
I'm still reminded of Hey You! Pikachu! every time someone mentions voice recognition, or the brain dead SOCOM squad mates.
