just an idea for eclipse

i dont know if they maybe are already working on one or not, but something i would really like to see in the future is something along the lines of a gtek, like an etek version of the geo line. i've shot a bunch of geos and geo2s and i really like them, but i can't really afford to drop $1,250 on a paintball gun. so just wondering if something was in the works, but if not, it's just an idea

just wait for 6-9 months after a release of a new marker and you will see prices drop a good 20-25% or more on used ones. But if you are one of those that must have all of the latest and greatest first, then that is the price you pay to play.

It's something that has been brought up several times before - pretty much since the Geo's release.

As I understand it, there just aren't as many places where you can cut costs as there are between the Ego/Etek. You could use an Etek style LED board, remove the VVC adjuster from the Propshaft perhaps, loose the bearing mounted trigger. But the milling on a Geo is already pretty simple, the bolt kit pretty much has to be the same, the solenoid has to be the same, so you wouldn't necessarily end up with as big a price difference.

Another thing to consider is that Planet may well be busy enough with the range of products that they already have.
